I am new to aquarium plants and this has already started growing a bunch of new stems. It has lost some leaves but not too much, from what I have read that is normal. I would definitely recommend Windy City Aquariums and hornwort. I have had a lot of bladder snails in this plant, which I do not mind (they are good cleaners and remove any dead parts of my plants) just be prepared. You could use a disinfectant soak and quarantine the plants if you do not want the snails.
Simple as that it’s just a fun plant. You want to plant then ya stick it in the substrate want it to float around all silly nilly like then do just that. This is one hearty plant. I got a handful of this six months ago from WCA and now about half my tank’s background is densely planted with it. I love it
