RAMSHORN SNAILS

Ramshorn snails are freshwater snails whose shells are planispiral, meaning that the shell is a flat coil, and are a great peaceful addition to your aquarium and will make a great companion for any fish! Not only do they add color to your tank, but are an important part of a healthy tank's eco-system as they also help to eat algae and all the “dirt” and debris that’s accumulating in your tanks such as sludge, fish poop, dead plant parts, carcasses, and food leftovers. They come in many colors, such as pink, blue, gold/red, and brown, and can have leopard-like patterns on their shells. They can also be used as feeders for freshwater pufferfish, loaches, and some cichlid species.
