Color of the Red Root Floaters can vary depending on seasonality, and can range from green to dark red leaves, and its roots can range from a red to brownish color. Red Root Floaters can be very sensitive and might melt during shipping, but should regrow if left in a tank with minimal water surface disturbance.

A bit dry but a nice addition

I have these in my low-tech betta tank now (getting beneficial bacteria), but they are bound for a new tank with Co2 and higher light once it's fully set up. I can't wait to see how red they turn and how long the roots get. I might keep a few in the betta tank because Ginseng (betta) seems to enjoy the longer roots. I'll post an update/another review in a few months with progress pics.
