Vesicularia dubyana, commonly known as Java moss, is an especially hardy and low-maintenance aquarium plant, making it a popular choice amongst aquarists. It is native to southeast Asia, where it grows on rocks, along riverbeds, and on tree trunks in warm and humid climates. Not only tolerant of a broad range of temperatures, Java moss is also especially easy to cultivate, as it readily clings to various surfaces and spreads both vertically and horizontally.
NOTE: The moss you receive may contain some brown bits, which is 100% normal and as long as most of the moss is green, it will regrow. While it does fine in low light, higher lighting will help the moss to grow more vibrantly green. Refunds or replacements will not be issued for moss with browning parts.
